Store Policies

Our warranty policy is as follows:

1 Year or 30/60 WARRANTY: 30 day warranty covers the following components only (hard drive, mother board, CD drive, LCD screen, RAM chip, peripheral ports, fan motor and keyboard).  It does not imply a performance guarantee and does not cover any damage to unit caused by buyer including dropage, water and or heat damage, any type of user error, viruses, malware, trojans, cosmetics or any other incidental damage...  Any hardware installed, removed or modified in any way after buyer possession automatically voids warranty.  Any software, wallpaper or download that results in system lock up, diminished performance or corruption of any kind also voids warranty. 60 day warranty extends the 30 day warranty to the GPU and CPU only and warrants what we identify as "catastrophic failure" of either component. The same limitations apply to the 60 day warranty as aforementioned in the 30 day warranty.  Warranty provides for repair or replacement only under certain conditions outlined herein. If a warranty claim is filed within 30/60 days from date of receipt, buyer will incur all return costs and unit will be inspected by IT to see if damage was caused purposefully.  If IT determines that damage was purposeful or a result or buyer negligence, no repair or replacement will be granted. Any warranty claim made after the 30 day warranty period that extends to 60 (and 1 year) covering the GPU/CPU will incur a fixed forty dollar($40)diagnostic/labor fee that must be paid prior to buyer receiving repair or replacement product. There is no warranty on repaired/replaced product.

*BATTERY GUARANTEE: We guarantee that our batteries will hold at least a 1 hour charge hold time at time of delivery in the power saver mode. If machine is run in any other mode, performance may be diminished below the 1 hour time, which is not warranted. If battery should fail to perform as stated, buyer must notify ShockNet via email within 7 days of delivery time. At that point it is buyer's responsibility to have item shipped back to us at buyer's cost for charge verification. If battery is in fact performing at a level less than that outlined in guarantee we will promptly ship a replacement at no cost to buyer.
